REDSCAN Pro

REDSCAN PRO SERIES

REDSCAN Pro is the latest technology security sensor comprised of LiDAR technology. REDSCAN Pro is a highly accurate outdoor and indoor security sensor with advanced detection performance, long-range customizable detection and environment resistance.

Part of the ONVIF profile S compliant REDSCAN Pro Series, RLS-3060V and RLS-50100V are the two LiDAR sensors that provide very accurate detection of intruders and moving objects, without any gaps and keeping the same detection resolution of far away areas as well. Incorporated with OPTEX’s advanced technology, they provide excellent detection performance not affected by variable lighting, temperature or environmental changes, making them the best solution for highly sensitive areas.

Achieve more with just one sensor

REDSCAN Pro Series gives 190-degree discovery empowering to safeguard wide regions with only one sensor. The recognition region can be separated into 8 autonomous zones, and for each zone the article's objective size, responsiveness and result can be tweaked. It gives incredible adaptability to apply the settings relying upon the zones' areas and level of danger. The REDSCAN PRO’s detection range and versatility enable us to achieve what is usually done by multiple sensors.

Also, the sensor has an inherent camera that can record caution occasions and save the two logs and pre-post occasions' photographs and recordings to use as extra help to survey set off the alert's and make changes' expectation's for the settings.

Connectivity and Interoperability

The REDSCAN Pro LiDAR is an ONVIF profile S compliant sensor. It makes the sensor to send alarm outputs via the ONVIF protocol to any ONVIF compliant networked video system or IP network devices. The video stream of the assistance camera could also be provided to the Video Management Software platform via the ONVIF RTSP protocol. To assure a secure network communication, the REDSCAN Pro is compliant with HTTPS, SNMPv3, IEEE802.1X protocols.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

The REDSCAN Pro Series (RLS-3060V/RLS-50100V) is provided with a built-in assistance camera that simplifies installation and walk test. A laser line overlay on the camera view provides visual guidance about where the detection area is on the scene, allowing it to adjust as per the requirement.

The REDSCAN Pro Series (RLS-3060V/RLS-50100V) is equipped with a built-in adjustment bracket within its housing to allow a tilt of -5 degrees to 95 degrees and a side adjustment is -/ + 5 degrees. Horizontal, vertical and tilted mounting options can be achieved without any additional bracket. The configuration settings are done via a web browser which allows an easy remote access. The settings can be copied from one device to another, providing they are the same models i.e. from one RLS-3060V to another RLS-3060V and from one RLS-50100V to another RLS-50100V.

Features

  • Auto Area Adjustment :

In snowy conditions, the detection area floor can change, this could cause false alarms. By using this function, the REDSCAN Pro unit continuously adjusts the detection area between the object height and the previous revised line of the ground.

  • Environmental Resistance :

REDSCAN Pro can provide the uninterrupted detection without any failure even in adverse weather conditions.

  • Small Animal Tolerance :

This function is used to reduce false alarms due to small animals in the vertical detection area.

Applications

  • Buildings
  • Perimeter
  • Approach
  • Roof / Ceiling
  • House

Preventing copper theft from solar parks

Copper theft from solar parks is an escalating problem that poses significant risks to the renewable energy industry. As solar energy continues to expand globally, the value of copper, which is extensively used in electrical wiring, grounding systems, and other critical components of solar installations, has made it an attractive target for thieves. These thefts not only result in substantial financial losses but also disrupt energy production, leading to broader economic and environmental consequences. To safeguard solar parks from such threats, a comprehensive approach that combines physical security measures, advanced surveillance technology, community engagement, and innovative design solutions is essential. By implementing these strategies, solar parks can effectively deter theft, protect their investments, and ensure the reliability of their energy production. Read More

Perimeter Protection

Perimeter is the outer boundary of a premises which has the main entry and exit to the entire area which it encloses. The enclosed premises can be a home, industry, bank, warehouse, defence cantonment, etc, which are accessible only after crossing the first point of admission that is the perimeter. What is Perimeter Protection? The Perimeter of any premises is the first and foremost critical layer of security and needs to be protected. Every theft or sabotage starts from this point only and hence protecting it becomes the most important as well as the most difficult part of the Security System. Read More
